Gordon has worked in healthcare delivery systems, information technology and physician practices for more than 25 years, most recently in leadership positions. As Vice President, Hospital Operations, Gordon’s expertise is in delivering superior patient experiences, revenue cycle management, process optimization and automation, and managing hospital mission critical services to PatientMatters and its healthcare customers.
Gordon has spent most of his career advocating for better healthcare systems and improving the patient’s financial experiences. He was most recently Director of Patient Access and Financial Eligibility at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis. While there, his roles included business integration of healthcare information management (HIM), IT Project Manager – Clinical Systems, Program Administrator for county charity care, and Project Director of the Affordable Care Act Navigator rollout. Prior to his work at Eskanazi, Gordon spent many years at Sutter Health (California Pacific Medical Center) in San Francisco in various information technology positions. He has also worked in several provider practices, including internal medicine, pediatric neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery.
Gordon completed his B.S. degree at Baker College in Michigan with an emphasis on Information Technology – Project Management. He also received project management certification from the University of California, Berkeley, and Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
